Membership for 2024

We are holding our 2024 Membership Subscription at £30 - a bargain!  And Student Membership is £15.

We welcome new members to the Association.

Membership is open to all with an interest in gemmology and who share the aims of the Association to promote interest in, and the study of, gemmology.

Our meetings, conferences and other events are open to members and their guests. Under normal circumstances our live evening meetings are open to anyone else who wishes to attend. If you are interested in coming along, you will be made welcome and your first meeting will be free. Thereafter you can pay by the meeting, currently £6.00, or £3.00 for a student, or join the Association. Each year we may have one or two workshops which are restricted by numbers and preference is given to members. In these cases, a place must be reserved in advance by emailing sga@scottishgemmology.org.

Additionally we do offer some of our meetings, without charge, over Zoom.

Membership requires a subscription of £30.00 for ordinary members and £15.00 for a student attending full-time education.

An SGA member is entitled to a substantial discount to the delegate fee for our annual conference and also free attendance at our regular evening meetings

The Committee reserve the right to reject an unsuitable application, where appropriate.
